Answer 1:

Internal Medicine is the specialty of medicine that concentrates on the treatment of all adult diseases. An Internist undegoes special training in the treatment of hospitalized patient and those with chronic illnesses like heart disease, lung disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, stomach disorders, etc.

Yes we are accepting selected new patients. Please call our office at 336-249-8760 and tell us about yourself

New patients should call our office at 336-249-8760. Established patients may call our office or email for an appointment at lexi@randylongmd.com.

We are open Monday - Friday 8AM until noon. We are also open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 1PM until 5PM.

Call our office number (336-248-5161) and follow the prompts to reach the practitioner on call for Phil Lands PA. The practitioner will call you back; most of the time that will be Phil.

Yes, Phil maintains his Board Certification to make sure he is always up-to-date.

You should call your pharmacist and they will get in touch with us or you can call us directly at 336-249-8760. You may also email us for a refill at lexi@randylongmd.com or use our Patient Portal. If you have missed an appointment we will require you to make an appointment.

We accept payment from most all major insurance companies. You may call us at 336-249-8760 or email us at penny@randylongmd.com to check on your particular carrier. Dr. Vega and Phil are new to our office so we are working hard to get them credentialed with insurance comapnies as the need arises.

Our practice no longer admits to the hospital but uses the hospitalist service to take care of our patients requiring admission to the hospital.
